We require a deposit of 50%. This must be paid within 1 week of booking or the booking will automatically Cancel. The balance in full must be paid one month prior to arrival. A booking is not guaranteed until full payment has been received.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations are only accepted if 30 days or more notification is given, in this case a full refund will be issued less a $100 booking service fee. Cancellations with less than 30 days notice will not receive a refund. To exchange dates we require 30 days notice.
Security bond
Karas Apartments requires a $500 cash security bond per apartment and this bond must be paid on arrival before room keys are issued. Credit cards will only be accepted with prior management approval.
Office hours In Winter 4.O0pm-6.00pm daily. We do not have set office hours in summer please call in advance to advise of your expected arrival time, so there is someone to greet you on arrival. If you are arriving before 4pm please let us know well in advance, we may be able to assist you with an earlier check-in. We cannot guarantee that rooms will be clean and available for check-in prior to 4pm.

Car parking
There is no car parking available at Karas. The driveway is for unloading only and all guests are required to park in the overnight car park in Thredbo Village (there is no charge for the Thredbo Car park). A shuttle bus runs regularly from the car park servicing all lodges in winter. **Luggage storage is available.
**Special bedding requirements for our studio and 2 bedroom apartments must be arranged prior to arrival. Bedding cannot be changed after arrival.
